How To Design Well Organised Kitchen Interiors
The kitchen is one space in your house which needs to be functional. It doesn’t matter how great the interiors look, if you can’t work in there, it’s practically of no use to you. A well organized kitchen will make sure you don’t find cooking to be a chore and will also make you more efficient! So how exactly do you go about designing a well organized kitchen? Take a look at some of these kitchen interiors tips.
You first need to focus on the ergonomics. The primary work spaces in your kitchen are the refrigerator, the sink and the stove. Arrange these three so they form three ends of a triangle. This is called the kitchen work triangle. Planning them in such a way will lead to optimum efficiency and create a functional flow for you in the kitchen. Basically there will be no obstruction between the cooking and preparatory areas, and you’ll have a good workflow.

Chic Appearance: Acrylic kitchens generally appear to be much sleeker than other kitchens and this is because of the glossy finish of the material. Acrylic has a flawlessly smooth finish which gives off a very rich feel to space. Going in for elegant colours can really give a facelift to your kitchen space instantly. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #ggathome#homeandgarden#bohemianhome#dominomag#theverygirlathome#apartmenttherapy#anthrohome#livecolorfully #styleithappy#urbanjungleblogger#myhomevibe#houseandhome#inmydomaine#myhousebeautiful#pocketofmyhome#bohemianstyle#bohohome#howyouhome#jungalowstyle#abmathome#thenewbohemians#mybohemianabode#houseplantclub#showmeyourboho#uohome#interiors#interiordesignersofinsta#interiorismo#idealhome#kitchendecor
Another important area to focus on is storage. Your first focus should be on storing your cooking utensils, groceries and cooked food. Spices, oils and herbs should be close to the stove so they are easily accessible. You can install some open shelves for salt, sugar, spice and basically all the things you use everyday, so they are easily reachable and close to the cook top area in the kitchen.

Cutlery and other utensils can go in drawers. Drawers should have compartments so your cutlery doesn’t get mixed up and its easier for you to retrieve them.
Shelves should be designed according to the size of your jars. Use clear jars for spices and grains. To make optimal use of your shelves, use square or rectangular boxes as they stack up well.
Electrical appliances like your blender, food processor should be stored in shelves, especially if you have a small kitchen. They take up a lot of space on the countertop which can otherwise be used as a food prep area.
Wall hooks are a great idea to hang utensils you use frequently. You can also add one to hang your kitchen towels and apron.
Don’t underestimate what great lighting can do for your kitchen. This is an often overlooked area, but it one of the most important factors for maintaining a well organized kitchen. You can introduce some task lighting directly over the cooking area so there are no shadows and storage shelves which you access often.
You can install lights inside the cabinets which light up when you open them and switch off when they’re closed.
You need to set aside space for a cleaning area. The cleaning area is the sink area and space for you to dry your dishes at. Some storage under the sink is a good idea to keep the garbage bin at, and other cleaning supplies. Try getting separate bins for dry and wet waste. Other cleaning supplies should have a shelf of their own under the sink.
