Interior Design Tips For The Spring-Summer Season
With the change in season, time now for you to change up the interiors to welcome the summer! You don’t have to go for a complete overhaul! Just a few changes here and there, and voila you have a space which complements the waning nip in the air and makes people feel like they’ve walked into a room filled with sunshine!
The key to redoing your space for spring and summer it that don’t be afraid to go bold. Mix and match and try something different. Start small, with decorative pieces and once you have a clearer direction, move to the furniture, curtains or, if you have the time and the budget, redoing your walls.
A POP HERE AND A POP THERE
Let’s start with the small things. You can get some vases, fill the room with fresh flowers, put up a painting with warm colors or just place some vibrant dishes. These three things can be used as decoration and to create the perfect summery, light playful mood.
You can choose the colour scheme based on your preferences, but one can never go wrong with warm tones of reds and yellows. You can choose to get colorful vases if filling them with flowers is too tiresome for you. Remember, the key is in the colour!

What better way to add a bit of cheer than get some indoor plants! They work to clean the air inside your home and will give your house a bit of a tropical feel as well. You can’t get more summery than this.
If not, then you can get some flowery prints and add them to existing pieces. For example, your bed’s headboard can be switched up with a plant print.
Natural fibers will never go out of style. They’re classy, look great and add texture to your living space. You can use them in the form of nice curtains around your windows, or some nice handmade cushion covers.
Table cloth, upholstery, even furniture in some cases. The options are endless.
If you want to give your living space more of an edgy look, then you can opt for some wooden fixtures. Typical summer wood would be pine or birch, but dark toned wooden furniture is in this year. You can also use wooden vases, or other pieces to put in the living room.

Her haircut took the world by storm, so it’s but obvious that her living room will strike inspiration in the hearts of many. Jennifer Aniston’s living room at her home in Los Angeles is decorated with 20th-century classics. The main attraction of the living room is an oil painting by Robert Motherwell. The seating is plush and comfortable. The different vibrant colors combine to create an earthy, comfortable look. This living room opens up to a koi pond, which only makes it even better. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #ggathome#homeandgarden#bohemianhome#dominomag#theverygirlathome#apartmenttherapy#anthrohome#livecolorfully #styleithappy#urbanjungleblogger#myhomevibe#houseandhome#inmydomaine#myhousebeautiful#pocketofmyhome#bohemianstyle#bohohome#howyouhome#jungalowstyle#abmathome#thenewbohemians#mybohemianabode#houseplantclub#showmeyourboho#uohome#interiors#interiordesignersofinsta#interiorismo#delhi#noida
Coral hues are in this season as well. You can just add a chair with coral fused upholstery in your living room, or add the colour with cushions in your bedroom. Curtains are another way you can introduce corals through.
You can also choose to go with a theme for your living room. Add splashes of white and blue, use some rope as a decorative piece or as coasters and you have yourself a nautical theme! Or add some pastels and contrast with some bright furniture and you have a warm and comfy space.
